Wild Writing

Join the Wild Writing® Circle, a space to write what’s in your heart. Together, we write freely and continuously, following our words wherever they want to go. There’s no need to polish or perform—instead the Circle is an invitation to show up, let the pen move, and see what unfolds. This gentle yet powerful practice helps quiet the inner critic, deepen self-trust, and remind us of the beauty in our ordinary, extraordinary lives.

“Let go of everything when you write, and try at a simple beginning with simple words to express what you have inside. It won’t begin smoothly. Allow yourself to be awkward. You are stripping yourself. You are exposing your life, not how your ego would like to see you represented, but how you are as a human being…. writing splits you open and softens your heart toward the homely world.”

“Lisa’s Writing Circle changed my life. In our weekly circle, I rediscovered a part of myself that’s creative, outspoken, and desires connection. Lisa offers writing circles online and encourages us to leave behind the perfectionists inside us.”

“This Wild writing practice helped me in an unexpected way this weekend. I was asked to speak at a funeral, and instead of laboring over the perfect speech at home, I wrote a letter the day of the service where I told people about  some of my earliest memories of my friend. I was confident with my writing, and able to share true words from my heart without excessive self consciousness. I attribute my comfort in that situation to my experience over the last few years in the wild writing group.”

“The Circle supported me during a time I needed clarity. It helped me throw down words that helped me see my feelings more clearly to know that it's OK to feel that way. Also, that other people felt the same way I do. It was so nice to know that I'm not alone.”

“… this circle is unique from other online writing groups and workshops out there… it's about generating work and supporting others to do the same. This group helps to quiet the inner critic and gives one permission to say what is urgent and access the stories that have been waiting to be told.”
